So we’ve got some Gala apples ready to go into your bags this week. These are an excellent fresh eating variety that mature earlier in the season than most. Speaking of maturing, not so early, our tomatoes. I will pick as they are red, but I’m not pushing it any more. You may get one or two, I have only been getting about 5-6 ripe tomatoes a day to divide among the masses. I’m watching with anticipation the hundreds of other plump beauties and I can hardly wait. It will happen, I promise, they will turn red, pink and chocolate colors soon.
